...Effective 1/1/2007 Beaufort County will no longer be conducting annual auctions of it's surplus items. Instead, items that are declared surplus by the Governing Board will be sold competitively online through GovDeals . This will allow the county to liquidate the surplus items quickly and competitively in a fair process. In order to bid on any item the county has for sale, bidders must register at the link below.
...To search for Beaufort County surplus items please follow the link below, choose "Advanced Search", then choose "NC" for the state, and "Beaufort County" as the seller name. If the name Beaufort County does not appear it means the county currently has no items for sale.
