Land Records staff provide a wide range of services related to property ownership and mapping. Examples of these important services include:

  • Management of the County's cadastral and geographic information system (GIS) mapping programs and databases
  • Application of recorded documents such as wills, deeds, etc. in administering tax listings
  • Producing GIS maps for county agencies and the public
  • Aiding the general public and professional community with inquiries, record reviews, and data requests

The following commonly requested datasets are made available in ESRI's shapefile format. Files are zipped for faster download. Beaufort County staff are not available to assist with questions about how to use these files or what software they might work with. The data is intended for trained users of GIS software.
